GOOLOO GP2000 Portable Jump Starter - 2000A for 8.0L Gas & 6.0L Diesel Engines, 12V Charger

I don't often do Reviews on items, unless totally rubbish or extremely good. This GOOLOO 1200 Jump Start kit very good. Used the first time today on an older car that had been sitting unused for 6 months with a completely flat battery. After reading the instructions a couple of times and watching one being used on the very popular Video App (search GOOLOO jump start on YT) I went to Jump Start the car. Connected the clips to the car battery first. Then attached the cable to the GOOLOO device. The device itself switched on automatically. No lights appeared on the cable part of the kit so I pressed the Boost button. I jumped into the car and noticed immediately some of the instrument panel lights were lit. I already had the key in the slot but not turned on the ignition. So, I turned the key, to ignition first - all the instrument panel lit up. Turned again and instantly the car started! Complete success! I had a concern that the car wouldn't turn over initially if the Starter Motor had jamed from lack of use. The power of the GOOLOO device overcame this possibility. One minor criticism is that the small paper instruction manual did give guidance on how to use the whole kit BUT there are additional instructions on the side panel of the Booster Cable block, including the sets of lights that display on the side of the cable block. None of that was detailed in the paper manual - it's important that these additional instructions are included on the paper manual for future. Hopefully manufacturer will take that on board. I'd emphasise the part of connecting the cable clips/cable block to the Dead Car battery first BEFORE connecting the cable block to the GOOLOO battery pack and doing the disconnection in reverse order. There could possibly be a risk if having the full kit connected together before attaching to the Dead Car Battery and the cable clips coming into contact with each other. 1200 Amps is very powerful and could cause a big BANG! I've had my kit for 7 months before first use today. I had it charged up fully when first received before packing into the boot of my main car. Before using on the dead car I did plug the GOOLOO kit in again to get it to full charge. After the 7 months, the kit was still pretty much fully charged which is impressive! I'd recommend anyone buying this kit to plug it into the house electrical supply every 4 to 6 months to ensure the kit is at full charge all the time. I would definitely recommend buying this bit of kit to have in the boot/trunk of the car, especially for non technical drivers - really easy to use and no need for an additional car to Jump Start the dead car. Looking at the prices now on Amazon, the 2000 Amp kit is cheaper than my 1200 Amp kit. I'd definitely buy the 2000 if I was buying again. Very nice extremely sturdy zip wallet / pack that whole kit is contained in. Will take up a tiny bit of space in the boot/trunk of your car. Yes, Totally Recommend buying this item.

It still amazes me how a small battery pack can deliver such a punch of power to start a car. Have already used it to start a diesel Mini and a Fiat 500. It works by giving a huge power boost to the battery/starter motor for several seconds which under normal circumstances is enough to start the car, if it doesn’t start then the power is cut and after a short time you can try again. You can do this several times on a single charge however if there is a fault with the car such as lack of fuel then it won’t help. So if it’s just a flat battery then it will work a treat. I’ve now bought second unit so we’ve got one in each car. It’s also very useful for charging a dead phone or finding your way in the dark with the built in torch, would definitely recommend

I bought this because I needed to jump-start my car, with a battery that I'd accidentally run flat. The car electrical systems were working but not enough charge to start the motor. Small car, engine is 1.6L petrol. Used this and it worked first time - took just a few seconds. I assume this will be reliable for quite some time if maintained properly. (If not, I'll update my review in the future)

This product was fine but hardly used other than as a power bank for charging phones sometimes. When it failed to charge I contacted the manufacturer (as per amazons Instructions). First they asked me for video a of the problem which I sent. After I provided that, Then they said that the item was over warrant period of 18months. I’ve asked what life expectancy is on these but they didn’t answer. They did offer me a small discount of another product but I think it’s only fair to let people know that these products do fail. I was warned this would probably happen by my car garage. Shame as it was good piece of mind . But no good if it doesn’t work

This is the best product I have ever come across will boost a dead battery on anything easy to use has a light which activates when you push the button has two usb ports to charge your phone or give power to very strong does what it says on the boxwotlrth every penny comes with a case so you can store it for protection and also when connected will indicate if you have connected it the wrong way if all light are green press button and you have all the power you need compact and easy to carry

Had this item for 2 years now and it's jump started the car 4 times. It's recharged regularly so it's always ready for use but now it won't charge anymore. So imo it's a waste of money if it only lasts 4 jump starts in 2 years, I would expect it to last a lot longer.

Petit ,ergonomique,simple d’utilisation.fournis avec une jolie pochette. Fais office de chargeur multiple,avec une lampe frontale très utile. Tester ce matin avec succès,à voir dans la durée si la batterie est de qualité,mais j’apprécie.
