When these arrived, the package seemed so small and light I thought the charger must be missing. But it was in there; it's just extremely minimal. The only thing you don't get is a USB cable for it. This seemed a bit stingy, although it's probably better for the planet, as I have loads of them lying around. But I'd be annoyed if I didn't, and had no way to charge these. I have a small battery tester. I tested all eight batteries on receipt, and all were well into the green zone labelled 'FULL', with a few even off the scale, so I didn't get any weak or dud ones. With all the batteries arriving already charged, there was no immediate opportunity to test the charger. Unfortunately, it wasn't compatible with some old rechargeable batteries I already had, because they're all Nickel Metal-Hydride (NiMH), whereas the instructions state that the charger is ONLY suitable for rechargeable Lithium-ion or Lithium batteries. So be careful if you're hoping to charge a legacy battery collection, as they might not be compatible. I only really got the batteries for some LED-candles, and didn't have anything more power-hungry to test with. I purposely hammered the candles for a few hours each day, but still expected the batteries to last weeks or even months before they needed recharging, because that's how long conventional batteries lasted. So I was quite surprised that first one candle, then all, grew noticeably dimmer within the week. I was going to have a recharging opportunity sooner than expected, but continued lighting the increasingly feeble-looking candles for a few more days to ensure a full discharge cycle. Eventually, one of them would not switch on anymore, so I took the batteries out and recharged them. The charger flashed green, indicating normal charging. During charging, the batteries got slightly warm. I wouldn't leave them charging unattended, but I would avoid that with anything. It took nearly three hours (more than the advertised 2.5) to get steady green lights, indicating charging complete. I popped the batteries back in the candle, and it came on at once at full brightness, so my first charging attempt has been a success. I know this doesn't amount to exhaustive testing, but I'll pop back and update if there are issues encountered with further use. I docked a star for having to provide your own cable and the short life before they need recharging. If that's typical, they're going to be on charge a lot!

Great batteries (compared to other rechargeables, as they don't have any more faults to similar) The charger is cheaped out on. Two a pack, and a slow charger, it's annoying. Thankfully an eight pack means easier rotation. I use my own large battery charger that houses 12 in a go, so it's more convenient this wway

These are listed as 3000mAh but they are not. They are rated as 3000mWh which at 1.5volts is 2000mAh so they are way below in capacity what you would expect from them. I really do rate Lithium rechargeable, they give 1.5v consistently until they don't! Its like falling off a cliff when they run out of power, so for example trail camera's will show 100% battery all the time then suddenly stop working because the batteries are flat, so you need to keep aware of use patterns. The charger manages to charge just 2 batteries at a time so it will take up to twice as long to charge all 4 batteries. I found the charger to be a little fiddly to use too. Other makes available use a box charger that holds all 4 batteries and charges all of them at once. These are at review time £11.99 for 4 x AA and a 2 slot charger. I would shop carefully.

This is a handy charger for lithium batteries that are used in items that require high power. This alternative to buying expensive disposable batteries. Only downside is that it does not come with a usb c cable but works fine without phone cable.
