There are SO MANY batteries here! I almost forgot I requested a unit of 16, so having the spares around is great. While eight only fit inside the charger, the other four plus four come in hardened boxes to protect them from bumps. For most gadgets around the house you'll be using multiples of two or four, so 16 means you can have several on the go. If you've used rechargeable earphones then you will be familiar with how these work - place them in the box, close the lid then plug the USB-C charger into an outlet, whether one at a time or all together. An hidden LED indicator on top lets you know which slots have a battery in them, meaning you don't have to keep opening and closing it to see how many are on charge. Given lithium ion batteries have a propensity to ignite if they're damaged, having a sturdy box with little rattle is reassuring. The dock should also be able to alert you of any shorts, and will cut out if starting to overheat. It might be worth going for the slightly higher 3600mWh if your usage is a bit more intense than this standard 3600mWh. I would imagine the weaker output is probably better for smaller items with lesser discharge like remote controls or clocks, although if you want something more powerful like a remote control racing car or a retro gaming console, trade up for that extra kick! Finally, the box itself doesn't hold any power, just provides a safe dock - so make sure it's plugged into an outlet or you'll be storing flats!
