Amazing little charge which saved me over £100, with this unit only costing just over £20, my fiesta ecoboost had been sat for about 6 months doing nothing, as this car has stop start, it has a very expensive and special EFB battery in it, the battery was stone cold dead, not even 1 volt in it, I guess the clock etc took the last of it, even a jump start wouldnt get it going as theres no way to turn off the day running lights, it would start but couldnt charge quickly enough before it died again and wouldnt come back on, I couldnt even lock the car, every shop was telling me a new cheap battery would be £120, and my battery had obviously had it, I refused to believe this as the battery itself was only a year old. So after reading some reviews I decided to buy this little charger, I took the battery off the car and hooked it up to this charger, the charger told me the battery was at 100%, but using a multimeter I could see this wasnt true, I think the charger was basically somehow detecting its own voltage, so I decided to put it in repair mode and left that running for 4 hours, I then switched off the charger and disconnected the charger, reconnected the charger and switched it back on, the charger was now telling me the the battery had zero in it, so began charging via the normal method overnight, 11 hours later and I basically have a new battery, fully charged and working fine on the car once again.

I had several vehicle batteries that were likely to be scrap and I had obtained two AGM leisure batteries that definitely were past their best. Having read a couple of articles on AGM batteries I realised none of my battery chargers would suitable for charging them. I saw this on Amazon which seemed too good to be true especially with many AGM chargers being way more expensive. Plus it claimed it had a repair mode! At the price it was worth risking so ordered one and it arrived the next day. So far it has resurrected one AGM leisure battery and an Odyssey PC 680. Ran cool both times with no apparent heat issues at all while charging. Will be trying with the other AGM battery and two more PC 680s plus my cars old battery. I am already surprised at how good it is especially considering its size and weight. So it has more than paid for itself and am happy to reccomend based on my experience. (Now off to look at MMA welders...)

Good little charger with lots of info about the Charging cycle and how the battery is performing …. More compact that the old type it has replaced and can be left on constantly to monitor the battery condition. Cable from charger to battery terminal clips is too short so the charger would need to be housed inside a vehicle to charge in situ on a car or bike not under cover with the main cable outside to the power socket which is not ideal, could extend terminal clip cable but terminal clips sealed so not removable, would need to clip onto clips to extend…..
