Although I have not had cause to use the device yet, I have viewed a few videos which show cars starting from totally dead batteries and also in winter conditions without any problems. I would like to mention that care should be taken when replacing the device into the case provided because when I received the item, I checked everything, read the booklet and then packed the device back into the case. However, when I was showing the device to a pal about 10 days later, I noticed that the charge level had fallen from 72% to 1%. This was because the light had been turned on when I zipped the case up because of pressure on the on switch. The light had been strobing for 10 days. Pretty impressive but annoying. I realised that if the item is packed a certain way, it is possible for a jump clip to apply pressure on the switch. So, in order to avoid this, it is necessary to pack the item as follows. The case has a cut-out section where the 'glass hammer' part fits, so make sure that the jump starter is positioned correctly. Then when you pack the jump cables, make sure that they are packed one behind the other so that the black cable lies within the 'V' of the red cable and the point of the V's point in the direction of the cut-out (See photo). This allows there to be a gap where the start switch will not be pressed by the black jump clip. It is worth zipping the case and then reopening it just to make sure that the unit has not been turned on. It would be helpful if this instruction was in the accompanying booklet with a diagram to assist with positioning. Incidentally, I charged the unit to 100% and it still shows this charge after being left for 13 days.

Arrived boxed and undamaged. 70% charge, didn't take long to fully charge. Connection phone and it immediately started charging, the led indicated output via usb. Nice sturdy housing and complete with a storage holder with necessary cables included. Brought as a back up after the last battery die over winter so unable to test it out, just hope it's as good as it says when I do need it 🤞

I bought two of these in November 2023, however the second unit wouldn't charge so it was returned for a refund. I used this twice on a 1.3 Yaris in November / December 2023 and it was great as it started the car straight away, no fuss. A couple months ago (August / September 2024) I tried the same car again and it wouldn't start the car despite being fully charged. After a couple of attempts and with the battery now reading 87% full I put the charger on overnight charge but this made no difference to the % charged. As this item is still under guarantee I got in touch with the Manufacturers who after giving me the runaround suggested the charging lead I was using was faulty. I did manage to charge my mobile phone which took this down to 79%. I further tried a couple of different charging leads and still no joy in increasing the % charged on the unit. I've got back to Acmount twice now and both times they've promised to send me a new lead (rather than a new unit) if I provided my order details (provided twice by chat) which I have and have heard nothing further from them. This is a real shame as the unit is light and easy to handle (unlike the bulkier chargers), however if it stops working within the guarantee period (it won't start my 1.3 Yaris, I have plenty of 'phone chargers) and the manufacturers don't honour their guarantee then it's a waste of money. Mine is now in the bin and I'm back to using my huge bulky Clarke Charger which I've had for a while now, if only it's wasn't so heavy! Regarding the Acmount mine didn't last 12 months so was a waste of money for me.

My Lithium Battery Jump Starter arrived with about 57% charge, so I hooked the plug up to my computer. It took 3 hours to achieve 100%. I took it outside and attached the rather small (but effective) clamps to my car battery, got in and turned the key - immediate power! Forceful and strong, the engine growled and barked with a furious will! My Ford is 26 years old, and I don't drive it much so in winter the battery is apt to go dead. After the engine was powered up, I turned on the windshield wipers and defroster because it had just snowed; this caused the battery to shut off completely. So, with the jumper still at 100% power, I gave it a second jump, and once again, the car started right up with a loud rumble. I left all apparatus off this time, ran the engine then drove it for a couple of miles, let it idle running for another 25 minutes, and the battery is now fully recharged. After two jumps, the lithium pack was still at 99% charge. I recharged it and packed it up. The storage case is nice, hard with a zipper closure, and the cables & clamps have their own netted pouch along with the charging plug. It's a great deal and at this time, I can highly recommend this product. Its compact enough to store in the glove compartment for emergency use. The instructions say to recharge it every 3 months. It's really an impressive little powerhouse of rescue equipment that every driver should keep in their car. You never know when you'll need it, especially in winter when batteries often die on parking lots at stores or after your long shift at work. Once I had to wait alone over an hour and a half for my roadside assistance to get to me on a dark lot because they'd received so many calls that cold winter day. This is a scary prospect, as the office had already closed and it was the days before affordable cell phones. For the price, this is a great piece of equipment and a must have for single women!!! Would also make a thoughtful gift to anyone whose safety you care about.

I used this product straight out of the box. I quickly looked over the instructions, which are very easy to follow, and was able to start up my medium sized SUV. When I turned on the device, it had 73% battery. After charging my vehicle, the battery life went down to 37% . The item charged from 37% to 99% in about an hour and a half. The product has a built in compass, Flashlight, and a window breaker. The flashlight has three settings; flashing, strobe, and slow strobe. It also has a USB port so you can charge anything with USB capability. The product has some weight, but it’s not too heavy. It comes with a storage case, and the item is compact and it’s easy to store in your vehicle. The quality is medium, and in my opinion, it fits the price. My only unknown is how long will the item keep its charge? I live in the south where the heat can get into the three digits….
